Description:
A raven brings a red rose to a dark-haired mermaid with a red tail. Cypress trees stand on a bluff on a stormy day. Seagulls fly through the shafts of light breaking through the clouds. The rocky shore was inspired by Monterey Bay. This California fantasy seascape is an original acrylic painting on a gallery-wrapped stretched canvas (the 3/4" sides are finished off in gray acrylic)--no need to frame. It has been lightly varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors.
